Defomaster FS is a high-performance fluorine-modified silicone defoamer; Recommended in solvent-based systems to strongly reduce surface tension.

Features:

Physical properties:

Appearance: Colorless to light yellow liquid

Non-volatile content: 1.0-2.0%

Density (20°C g/cm3): 0.95

Decomposition temperature of active ingredients: above 260°C

Solvent: cyclohexanone

Application：

Chlorinated rubber, epoxy, two-component polyurethane, alkyd/melamine, alkyd and self-crosslinking acrylics.

Dosage recommended:

0.1-0.3%

Usage：

For best performance, use a high-speed disperser/or sand mill to generate the appropriate shear force that should be added to the grinding stage. If added at letdown stage, the shear force must be high enough to ensure good dispersion of the defoamer to prevent pin holes. Generally speaking, the full effect of Defomaster FS will achieve within one day after it has been dispersed into the system.

For complex formulations and application conditions, we strongly recommend proper testing prior to use.

Storage:

A dry place between 5°C and 30°C, turbidity and separation may occur at temperatures below 5°C.A dry place between 5°C and 30°C。Away from direct sunlight.

Shelf life:

1 year from the production date.
