High Fullness, Non-Foaming & Wide Compatibility
The resounding success of Hyperlev F100 modified polyester leveling agent has once again demonstrated the market's recognition and affirmation of high-quality, high-performance products from CORECHEM. In response to customers' recommendations for products with more targeted performance attributes, especially in the polyester-based leveling agent category, CORECHEM has leveraged cutting-edge synthesis technology to optimize molecular chain architecture and molecular weight distribution on the basis of Hyperlev F100, thus launching the next-generation special modified polyester leveling agent—Hyperlev F101.
Surface tension fluctuations during the wet film drying process are the primary factor affecting the fullness of the dry film. At the microscopic level, molecular gaps exist on the paint film surface after resin cross-linking and curing, which also compromise the film's fullness and distinctness to a certain extent.

In addition, in systems containing two distinct types of resins, irregular misalignment occurs at their interface due to differences in their physical and chemical properties, along with a more significant disparity in surface tension during the drying process.
Both increasing the film thickness and selecting slow-evaporating solvents are conducive to enhancing film fullness and appearance. The use of polyester-based leveling agents can effectively improve film fullness while minimizing the impact on the formulation and production process.
High Gloss & High Fullness
Among polyester-based and acrylate-based leveling agents, products with different molecular weights exhibit distinct application characteristics. Hyperlev F101, a specially modified polyester leveling agent, features a low molecular weight and exerts a filling effect during the drying process at the air-liquid interface.
In addition, polyester polymers themselves possess high transparency and glossiness. When applied in high-gloss systems, Hyperlev F101 has minimal impact on gloss and transparency, thereby imparting high fullness and distinctness to the coating film.

The wider the molecular weight distribution of polyester, the more likely it is to generate macromolecules and small molecules (relative to the molecular weight of Hyperlev F101). These substances exert a negative impact on surface tension, which is detrimental to the leveling property and fullness of the coating film. Relying on the advanced synthesis technology developed over more than a decade, CORECHEM has effectively narrowed the molecular weight distribution of Hyperlev F101.
Leveling Effect Comparison

Detailed Comparison

General Silicone-based Leveling Effect | Hyperlev F101 Leveling Effect (Right)
Hyperlev F101 delivers excellent leveling property and distinctness, resulting in a smooth and aesthetically pleasing coating film.
Non-foaming Property

Non-foaming Effect of Hyperlev F101 (Right)
High film thickness is unfavorable for bubble escape. As a non-foaming polyester leveling agent, Hyperlev F101 helps shorten leveling time, improve production efficiency, and reduce the possibility of coating film defects caused by bubbles.
Thanks to CORECHEM’s persistent efforts and innovations in advanced synthesis technologies for high-end chemical additives over more than a decade, the modified polyester leveling agent Hyperlev F101 not only offers excellent filling performance and a wide compatibility range, but also boasts non-foaming characteristics. Its incorporation eliminates the need for additional defoamers, thus reducing and avoiding various production accidents caused by defoamers.
Rewettability & Crater Resistance

Hyperlev F101, the modified polyester leveling agent, does not compromise interlayer adhesion while providing excellent crater resistance. Unlike traditional silicone-based wetting and leveling agents, Hyperlev F101 balances the surface tension at the air-liquid interface to achieve uniform surface tension distribution. It effectively enhances compatibility with polar systems, eliminates craters and pinholes, and enables more convenient dosing both in laboratory testing and industrial production.
Product Selection Recommendations
A comparative laboratory application test between Hyperlev F101 and Hyperlev F100 (both modified polyester leveling agents) shows the following differences:
- Hyperlev F101 delivers superior mirror-finish leveling performance
- Hyperlev F101 features a larger water contact angle and thus better stain resistance
